David A. Levine is a professional race car driver with experience behind the wheel of sports cars, stock cars, and open wheel formula cars.
In 2015, David raced full-time in the ARCA Racing Series. He collected 11 top ten finishes, four CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Race awards and two SCOTT Rookie of the Race awards throughout the season. In November 2015, David made his NASCAR debut at Homestead-Miami Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Ford EcoBoost 200.
Prior to 2015, David had three productive seasons in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.
In 2014 David competed in the GS class behind the wheel of the Ford Mustang Boss 302 for Racers Edge.
In 2013, in addition to being the closing driver for Racers Edge, he also drove the #43 in three ARCA races for the Richard Petty organization, including a Top Ten finish in the Scott 160 at Road America.
In 2012, David raced in the ST Class and finished the season with one win and two third place finishes. Over the years, David has won the pole at Road Atlanta, Road America, Sebring, Palm Beach International Raceway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway. His sports car experience includes Ford Mustangs, BMW 328is, and Mazda MX-5s. His stock car experience includes road courses, short-tracks, and 1.5 mile ovals. He brought home a Top-12 in the ARCA series ActivArmr 150 race at Chicagoland Speedway in 2012 and finished 4th nationally in both the 2009-2010 and the 2010-2011 Skip Barber Mazda MX-5 Winter Series.
David is also an ambassador for the American Heart Association, making in-person appearances at AHA fundraisers and managing his own Drive for Heart campaign (http://www.driveforheart.org). He often visits children’s hospitals during race weekends both to share his personal story and to try to put a smile on the faces of the kids he visits. His visits typically generate media interest within the community.
David is a 2015 graduate of Furman University in Greenville, S.C. where he earned a B.A. in Communication Studies. He is a 2011 graduate of Lake Forest Academy and a 2007 graduate of Lake Forest Country Day School. David is fluent in Spanish and he lived in Barcelona, Spain while participating in a language immersion program.
